Training for home and students

Refresh Technology also offers training in the home. Our home training starts at £60 for two hours.

Training for the workplace

Computers have become an essential part of our lives, but they are only useful if you know how to use them. Refresh Technology's training programmes are designed with this in mind and enable workers to learn the skills required to do their jobs efficiently. Training courses can take place in your office or at our premises. Charges vary depending on the number of people present on the course and courses can last from half a day upwards.

We also realise that our clients needs and prior knowledge differ, and can work with you to design a course tailored to your particular requirements. We have experience with using Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems, and can produce courses based round all of these.

Our training courses will have a defined outcome, and will require you to complete a task or project related to that course. Some examples of this are listed below:

  • Introduction to office computing
  • Using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint or OpenOffice
  • Write a report or a structured document
  • Make an effective presentation with Powerpoint
  • Analyse data with a spreadsheet
  • Syncronise your work across multiple computers
  • Working from home/the coffee shop/the beach...

Refresh Technology are planning to offer training for external qualifications such as the ECDL and CLAIT course soon.
