Data privacy and security

  • On occasion testing may aggravate an existing fault. We are not responsible for equipment that fails during testing.
  • We are not responsible for accidental loss of data, or loss of data caused by equipment failure. Data backup is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Where previously agreed we will copy data to new equipment, subject to the above condition.
  • In no circumstances can we guarantee to keep or transfer settings and preferences.
  • We may make copies of your data to our own equipment as part of the repair process. We will delete this data once it is no longer required for repair, unless requested to retain it.
  • We will never disclose your data to a 3rd party except when required by law.

No Fix No Fee

  • I understand that “No Fix No Fee” means that if the item cannot be fixed then there will be no charge.
  • I understand that I will be contacted and given a choice to proceed or not if replacement parts are required.
  • I authorise the repair of my computer at the standard repair charge of £45 if it can be repaired without replacement parts.
