Business Terms and conditions

  1. A minimum term of twelve months applies to all support contracts. The minimum term will not apply if the support contract has not been used in any way. In the event that we can no longer support the service, we may end the contract with a minimum of one month notice.
  2. Customers must be located no more than one hours driving from our office in Evesham.
  3. All support contracts are subject to a minimum charge of £40 plus VAT per month.
  4. Cover is subject to a survey of your equipment. We reserve the right not to offer cover.
  5. RefreshTech OnSite: An engineer will arrive on site to assess the problem within four working hours, unless otherwise agreed.
  6. Temporary equipment will be provided if we are unable to repair the fault on our first visit. This temporary equipment may not be of the same specification as the equipment covered.
  7. You may order parts from Refresh Technology Limited or from any supplier of your choice. We will not be responsible for problems caused if you supply a defective component as a replacement.
  8. If you call us out on more than one occasion for a software problem that is not covered, such as a virus, and you do not have RefreshTech Answers cover, we reserve the right to charge a callout fee of £60 + VAT.
  9. We do not cover physical damage caused by impact, fire, flood, theft, malicious damage, power surges, lightning, war, terrorism, or natural disasters.
  10. RefreshTech Replace: If the cost of repair exceeds the value of the computer, we reserve the right to offer a used computer of equivalent specification, or to offer a discount against the cost of a new computer equivalent to the value of the PC.
  11. RefreshTech Replace: Price quoted is for computers not exceeding £500 in value. Cover may be available at a higher rate for more expensive computers.
  12. Where only RefreshTech Answers cover is held, technical support will be provided by telephone and by remote desktop control. Support is limited to a maximum of two hours with the engineer or four telephone calls per month. Extra hours may be billed at standard rates.
  13. RefreshTech Laptop cover includes telephone technical support and remote control, and hard disk replacement. In the event of further hardware failure, we can arrange for the appropriate repairs to be made, for which you will be invoiced.
  14. You are responsible for making a backup copy of your data. We can advise on the best solutions for this. In the event of disk failure where you do not have backups, we will attempt to recover your data but are not liable if it is not recoverable.
  15. You must make adequate provision to protect your computer from Viruses and Malicious software. This includes firewall and anti-virus software. We can advise you on the appropriate
